If you ride on track or wear a one piece leather suit, choose a gauntlet cut. The overlapping cuff removes the gap at the wrist where a suit sleeve and a short glove separate under slide forces.

Why does the palm need reinforcing?
Because it lands first. In almost every fall the rider instinctively puts a hand out, and the heel of the palm takes the initial abrasion. An extra leather layer there is the difference between a scuffed glove and a scuffed hand.

Will the touchscreen fingertips wear out?
The conductive fingertip material is stitched into the leather rather than coated on top, so it lasts as long as the glove. Heavy abrasion on that panel will eventually reduce sensitivity.

Yes. Gloves are cut to your own hand measurements, so they are made on your proportions rather than scaled down from a men’s pattern.

How should a racing glove fit?
Snug across the palm with the knuckle shell sitting directly over your knuckles, and no more than a few millimetres of spare material at the fingertips. If the armour can shift off the knuckle, the glove is too big.
