Our custom motorcycle racing suits are full leather race suits designed from a blank sheet — your colours, your graphics, your name, built to your measurements. This collection is for riders who want a bespoke racing suit that looks like nothing else on the grid but is constructed and protected to full race specification. You are not picking from fixed designs here; you are designing the suit, and we build it.

Design freedom on a full race suit

A custom race suit is the most personal piece of kit you will ever own, and this collection leans all the way into that. You set the entire look — base colour and accents, panel layout, and graphics rendered in hard-wearing leather patchwork rather than stickers or cheap print. A clean, stealth single-colour suit? A loud multi-colour livery? A personal emblem, your name and racing number, or an original design worked into the leather? All of it is on the table. Because the design is built into the panels and stitching rather than printed on top, it lasts exactly as long as the suit does — it won't peel, crack or fade off after a season.

Still built to race spec

Design freedom is worth nothing without the construction to back it, so every suit here is built the same way our plainest race suit is. The shell is full-grain cowhide (1.3mm–1.4mm, never bonded or PU) for abrasion resistance, with kangaroo hide (0.8mm–0.9mm) available for a lighter suit. Sleeves and legs are pre-curved for the racing crouch, with Kevlar stretch panels at the crotch, behind the calves and under the sleeves for movement, and an optional Schoeller-Keprotec® upgrade. Original YKK zippers sit at the front, cuffs and ankles; the whole suit is triple safety stitched with high-strength bonded nylon thread; and removable Velcro knee sliders, a breathable polyester mesh lining and two inside pockets round it out. Whatever the design on the outside, the bones are pure race suit.

Armour and CE protection: every protector is Level 2

Protection comes from KeepTech armour rated CE Level 2 — the highest impact rating — at every body area, not the Level 1 fitted to a lot of suits. That means shoulder, elbow, knee and thigh protectors certified to EN 1621-1:2012, plus a Level 2 back protector (KeepTech Part-269, ventilated, roughly 40 × 44 cm) certified to EN 1621-2:2014. Thigh protectors are included as standard — protection most race suits skip. Level 2 transmits about 20 kN in the standard test against roughly 35 kN for Level 1. The armour is independently tested and certified by Ricotest (European Notified Body No. 0498, Pastrengo, Italy) under EU Regulation 2016/425 as Category II PPE, CE and UKCA marked. Both the premium ventilated set and the standard perforated ventilated set are fully Level 2 — the difference is breathability — and every protector is removable.

One honest point, the same one our Protection & Safety page makes: the armour is independently CE certified, but the leather shell is not. The shell earns its abrasion resistance from genuine full-grain hide — never bonded or PU — and triple stitching in bonded nylon thread; we don't claim a garment-level certification it doesn't hold.

Getting the fit right

A race suit has to fit closely — loose leather flaps at speed and lets armour shift — so it is cut to your own numbers, in men's and women's builds and Regular, Slim or Relaxed fits. Measure over a thin base layer, keep the tape level and don't pull it tight; chest, waist, hips, inseam, sleeve length and your height and weight are the figures that matter, all covered in our size guide. A well-judged custom fit is also what lets the Level 2 armour do its job, holding each protector over its joint.

One-piece or two-piece?

Any design in this collection can be built as a sealed one-piece for maximum track protection, or as a two-piece that zips together for the circuit and splits so the jacket can be worn on the street. Choose the one-piece if your focus is the track and outright protection; choose the two-piece if you want everyday versatility from the same custom design.
