Where is the armor located in the jacket?

CE Level 2 certified armor sits at the shoulders and elbows, with a CE certified back protector. Chest protection can be added on request. The armor is positioned at the points most likely to take impact in a fall.

What leather are these riding jackets made from?

Genuine full-grain cowhide at 1.3–1.4 mm — thick, durable, and highly abrasion-resistant — with a kangaroo leather option for lighter weight. We don't use synthetic or "PU" leather, because real hide is what protects you in a slide.

Is the armor removable for cleaning or comfort?

Yes. The CE Level 2 protectors are removable, which makes the jacket easier to clean and lets you take them out when the jacket is worn casually off the bike.
